Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using astarter.io (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Astarter Tech Group Ltd. (“Astarter”, “we”, “us”).

Protocol-level statement. Astarter is a decentralized infrastructure project. The Site is an information surface for the protocol, the ABox node, and the $AST token. It is not a regulated financial service and is not a binding offer of securities, derivatives, or any other financial instrument.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By using the Site you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in the jurisdiction from which you access it.

You are solely responsible for confirming that your access to the Site, any purchase of ABox nodes, and any interaction with the $AST token is lawful where you are located. The Site, the ABox node sale, and the $AST token are not offered to, and may not be accessed by, citizens, nationals, or residents of the United States of America, Canada, or the People’s Republic of China, or any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions. By using the Site you represent that you are not located in, and not a citizen, national, or resident of, any such region.

3. No investment advice

NOTHING ON THIS SITE CONSTITUTES LEGAL, FINANCIAL, BUSINESS, OR TAX ADVICE. Nothing on the Site · including the deck, tokenomics, roadmap, node-sale information, or any other content · is investment advice. The Site is informational only. You should consult your own qualified advisors before making any decision involving Astarter, ABox nodes, or the $AST token. No regulatory authority has examined or approved the information presented on the Site.

4. The $AST token · character & disclaimers

For the avoidance of doubt, the $AST token, as described on the Site:

does not have any tangible or physical manifestation and does not have any intrinsic value;
is non-refundable and is not redeemable for any assets;
does not represent or confer on the token holder any right of any form with respect to Astarter, its affiliates, or its revenues, including any right to receive profits, dividends, voting, or governance control over Astarter as a legal entity;
is acquired solely for the purpose of participating in the Astarter network and obtaining services on the ecosystem thereon.

Any sale, distribution, or allocation of the $AST token is governed by a separate Terms and Conditions or Token Distribution Agreement that you will be asked to accept at the time of purchase or participation. Those agreements take precedence over these Terms for the specific transaction they govern.

5. ABox nodes

The Site describes ABox nodes (LITE / PRO / MAX tiers) as virtual infrastructure of the Astarter network. ABox hardware production follows the mainnet launch and is driven by community demand; the Site does not commit to a specific hardware delivery date. Any purchase of an ABox node is governed by a separate purchase agreement.

6. Roadmap and forward-looking statements

The roadmap and any statements about future products, milestones, dates, or capabilities are forward-looking and subject to change based on development progress, the regulatory environment, and market conditions. Past performance and prior announcements do not guarantee future results.

You should not place undue reliance on any forward-looking statement. Astarter undertakes no obligation to update any forward-looking statement except as required by applicable law.

7. Risks

Cryptocurrency, DePIN node operation, and blockchain-based products carry significant risk. You may lose some or all of any amount you put toward an ABox node or the $AST token. Risks include but are not limited to: market volatility, smart-contract bugs, key loss, regulatory changes, network outages, fork events, and protocol changes. You participate at your own risk and assume sole responsibility for the consequences.

8. Intellectual property

The Site, its design, code, copy, logos, and other content are owned by Astarter or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the logos and brand assets made available under the Press & Media Kit for press use, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Site without prior written permission, beyond personal non-commercial use of publicly displayed content.

9. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites and services (CertiK, GitBook, Medium, X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Beehiiv, jsDelivr, Spline, etc.). We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of those services. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their terms and privacy policies.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) interfere with or disrupt the Site or its underlying infrastructure; (b) attempt to access non-public areas of the Site; (c) use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including circumventing the geographic restrictions in § 2; (d) misrepresent your identity in any communication with us; (e) scrape, mirror, or otherwise systematically extract content from the Site beyond what an ordinary visitor needs.

11. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTARTER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND DISTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ACCESS TO THE TOKEN DOCUMENTATION, OR ANY INFORMATION PRESENTED HEREIN. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of recovery and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Governing arrangement

These Terms reflect the protocol-level character of the Astarter project and do not select a specific national governing law. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence may still apply where they cannot be contracted out of. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally between you and Astarter shall be resolved on an individual basis; class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Astarter Tech Group Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contributors, and distributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) your access to the Site from, or as a resident of, any restricted region described in these Terms.

15. Wallet, keys & on-chain transactions

The public Site does not custody your funds, private keys, or digital assets, and does not collect wallet addresses. Any interaction with the $AST token or on-chain components occurs through separate applications governed by their own terms. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys; loss of keys or credentials may result in permanent and irrecoverable loss of access to assets. Astarter cannot reverse, cancel, or recover on-chain transactions.

16. Taxes

You are solely responsible for determining what, if any, taxes apply to your activities in connection with the Site, ABox nodes, or the $AST token, and for reporting and remitting those taxes to the appropriate authorities. Astarter is not responsible for determining, withholding, collecting, reporting, or remitting any taxes on your behalf.

17. Suspension & termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, including the acceptable-use restrictions or the eligibility and restricted-region requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including the $AST token disclaimers, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing arrangement) survive.

18. General provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any separate agreement that governs a specific transaction such as a token distribution agreement or node purchase agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Astarter regarding the Site and supersede all prior understandings.
Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and Astarter.

19. Language

The Site is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The non-English versions are translations for convenience. In the event of any conflict between the English version of these Terms and any translation, the English version prevails.

20. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
